I could relate to this book big time. April, to me, represents lots of women who don't get to fulfill their full potential in life. Whether it be because of unexpected pregnancy or not finishing school. Sometimes one thing can set you off in a direction you really didn't want to go in and one thing leads to another. Then to realize too late that now your in so deep you don't know how to even start to dig yourself out. TRAP! that's how she felt. Although, I personally would not have taken the situation as far as she did but you get the point. Very realistic!
