Who doesn't love a good conspiracy?... or is it mystery? Well either way this book has both. I was a little reluctant to read this book because I already saw the movie. I know what your thinking "The book is always better than the movie!" I know and I have always said this same line to anyone who has passed up a book just to see its movie. I would also like to mention that I'm a romance junkie and having read Angels and Demons I know Dan Brown is not a romance novel writer. This was my other reason for taking so long to read this book. Dan Brown is a what I call a "Chess Writer". He writes intelligent, well thought out, strategic books, they always make you step back and think "Wow, now that's interesting.". I was totally engrossed in the big Mary Magdalene cover up conspiracy and it was so interesting to see how his characters interpreted all the symbolism and allegory in art, on buildings, in practically everything. It was fun and kept my mind racing.
