Most of you know I LOVE Sherrilyn Kenyon and her fabulous Dark-Hunter series. Well, The Priory of Callan series is going to be set right there next to SK's books on my fav's shelf. That's how much I enjoyed this book. Once I started reading Ancient Whispers I could not put it down. It's a spellbinding and captivating story full of sexy sorcerers who have bartered their soul to reunite with their long lost soul mates. I fell in love with the story right away and didn't want the story to end.
As I was reading and getting introduced to each character I could tell that this story was not going to end with just this book. All the characters were very interesting and each has a complicated, and loaded background full of secrets and mystery.
I could not help but fall in love with Gabriel from the first pages of this book. I'm sure you will feel the same way once you start this reading this story. His love and devotion to Evangeline was beautiful and passionate. He was so devastated after losing her but very determine to find her again no matter what it took. *sigh* He is so dreamy!
Gabriel's story is a wonderful start to a very promising series and I can't wait to read what comes next for all the sexy sorcerers. If your are looking for a passions filled, action packed paranormal romance novel you don't want to miss out on this book.
