Character Interview with Nicholas Drake from The Drake Chronicles

In The Drake Chronicles there are many, many wonderful characters but here with us today is the one and only Nicholas Drake the youngest brother in the family.  You can check out The Drake Family Tree to see who's all in the family.

Interview

Hello Nick, can you please tell us a little about yourself ?

I'm 17 and the youngest of the Drake brothers. I turned into a vampire on my sixteenth birthday.

What are your hobbies/ favorite things to do?

There's hasn't been a lot of time to do anything but patrol and protect Solange but I love listening to music and hanging out by the lake. And my new favourite thing is sitting in the old tree fort with Lucy. It's the only place my brothers don't bug us. They've forgotten it's even there.

 Are you into books, movies, or music?

Music definitely. With such a crowded house sometimes earbuds are the only way to stay sane.

How is it living with such a big family?

It's cool. I can't really imagine it any other way. The only real rule of survival is to avoid Aunt Ruby. And not eat Lucy's secret chocolate stash she keeps in Solange's room. But then I haven't wanted to eat chocolate in awhile.

Who are you closest to in the family?

Solange and Logan.

Can you take us behind the scenes and share one little unknown fact about each of your brothers?

Logan: He's tougher than he looks.

Quinn: He's more traditional than his seven hundred girlfriends might have you believe.

Connor: Has a thing for sci-fi movies.

Duncan: He's very private and would kick my ass if I said anything else about him.

Marcus: Has been hanging out in Uncle Geoffrey's lab.

Sebastian: He's the eldest and the most serious. Wicked right jab.

 

What is your relationship like with your sister?

Close. Annoying. Necessary.

How do you feel about Solange hooking up with Kieran?

If I grind my teeth any harder I'll dull my fangs.

It’s obvious you have thought of Lucy as much more that just a friend for a while. What took you so long to make the first move?

Do you know how many times that girl has punched me in the face?

You and Lucy have a hate/hate relationship I the beginning. How would you describe your relationship with Lucy now?

She mostly doesn't punch me anymore.

Now that you and Lucy are a couple, how difficult is it being around her while fighting the temptation to drink her blood?

It's getting easier. 

This one is from Terry Kate @ Romance in the Backseat: What is the worst part of getting your nose broken?

It freaking hurts. And my brothers find it way too funny.

What is one of your most memorable moments in your life?

When Lucy started to look at me as guy and not her best friend's brother.

If you found yourself in need of some relationship advice who would you go to and why?

Quinn because he gets girls. Dad because he's great at that whole diplomatic compromise thing. If he can handle Mom, he can handle anyone.
