When I'm Not Writing

I must admit—I am writing most of the time. But that doesn’t stop me from having adventures. Right now it is four in the morning and I am writing this post in a car on a 1,400 mile road–trip to help my friend deliver a very special wedding cake that she baked in New Mexico and which will be served in Florida. We are both odd–jobbers for God, and have some wild adventures together. When I am not actually tapping at my laptop, I love wandering alone in wild places. I find things, like dinosaur bones, mammoth ivory, and lost treasure. Okay, I haven’t found much lost treasure yet, but I’m sure I will one of these days because I enjoy looking for it so much. And I spend lots of time reading, of course, which is just another way of wandering through wild places.
