Blog Tour: The Moreno Brother Hall Pass & Giveaway!

After reading the entire Moreno Brothers series and falling in LOVE with it I just had to be part of Elizabeth Reyes's blog tour but I didn’t want to just do the typical author interview. So I got to thinking about some of the characters. Now that the series is over I want to know more. If given the chance what would each character ask their partner if they could ask anything they wanted with one simple rule. (Because I am not about to be the one to blame for any arguments or *gasp!* break ups.) No one can get mad or upset. This is a hall pass to ask whatever they want but only one question each. Elizabeth and I worked together on this. I came up with the questions and she had her characters answer as only they would. So enjoy this blog post called.

The Moreno Brothers Hall Pass!

First up Angel and Sarah:

Angel’s question to Sarah—If you had never moved to California do you think you would’ve ended up with Syd?

Honest answer: I’ll keep this as short and as honest as possible. Me and Sydney always said we’d never do anything to ruin our friendship and as well as we’ve always gotten along I think it would’ve been too weird. So no, I really don’t think so.

Sarah’s question to Angel—Something I’ve always wondered. You were so popular in high school and could’ve been with any girl you wanted. Why me?

Honest answer: You really don’t know? I’ll keep this short too. I was used to girls laying it on thick—trying too hard. And you did none of that. You were just you. I loved that about you. I still do.  

Next up Alex and Valerie:

Alex’s question for Valerie—Have you ever disliked me?

Honest answer: Oh my God I hated you Alex! That entire year that we were apart your ruined it for every guy I tried dating. I hated that I couldn’t stop comparing all of them to you.

Alex: Every guy? How many did you date?

Uh allow me to step in here. Remember, Alex this hall pass allows for only one question. Your turn Valerie.

Valerie’s question to Alex—What was your first impression of me?   

Honest answer: At first glance it was “she’s tiny” and then when I first talked to you I was blown away by how self-confident you were. Even when I tried tripping you up, you were smooth. It was sexy as hell.      

Next Eric and Sofie:

Eric’s question for Sofie—A mutual friend flirts with you. Do you tell me?    

Honest answer—That’s a loaded question first off because all our mutual friends are in relationships and second because maybe your idea of flirting isn’t what I consider flirting so wouldn’t think it necessary to tell you. However, you and I both know from experience no matter how hard it would be I’d tell you.

Sofia’s question to Eric—We’ve know each other forever but when did you know you liked me more than just friends?

Honest answer—I think I always knew I felt something more for you than just what your brothers did. “brotherly love.” But I remember the day I walked you home after Angel got suspended for kicking Brandon’s ass in school I looked in your eyes and something changed completely. From then on I knew I had no chance of even trying to fight what I was feeling.

Next we have Romero and Izzy: (Gulp!)

Romero’s question for Isabel—Of all your ex-boyfriends what’s the one thing I do better than any of them?

Honest answer—*blushing* I think you know the answer to that.

That’s not exactly an answer. Romero don’t you want her to be more specific?

*Grins* No I’m good but can we leave now?

Just as soon as you answer her question.

Isabel’s question for Romero—When was the first time you became of aware of me?  

Honest answer—The moment you walked into Sarah and Angel’s wedding shower. But looking back it was when I started talking to you and what your face did when I called you sexy that I knew I was going to have to get to know you better.   

And just like that they’re off and running. Wow. 

Next up Sal and Grace:

Sal’s question for Grace—You didn’t like me much when we first met. So what changed?

Honest answer—I never disliked you. I just didn’t like that you were so quick to jump to conclusions and make assumptions. What changed? I got to know you—got to know your family and friends. I think I fell in love with all of you guys at the same time.

Grace’s question for Sal—So right back at you. I know you didn’t like me when we first met. What changed for you?  

Honest answer—That’s where you’re wrong, Gracie. You think my first impression of you was a bad one but you have no idea how tempted I was to call you back. I told myself it was just to ask why you lied but deep inside I just wanted to talk to you again and I knew if I did I’d be hooked. I was pretty sure you couldn’t stand me. So when I walked in and saw you behind the bar nothing changed. It only confirmed what I had already been thinking. I was a goner.

And now for a couple we know very little of and a teaser Q&A for them. 

Vince and Rose:

Rose’s question for Vincent—How could you? You broke my heart.

Honest answer—Rose, I’m sorry. I never meant to hurt you. That’s not how things were supposed to go down.   

Vincent’s question to Rose—Can you ever forgive me?

Honest answer—Never.
