My POV: The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines

Kindle Edition, 174 pages
Published October 12th 2011 by Abbi Glines
Being the good girl isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Ashton Gray has grown weary of playing the part to please her parents, and to be worthy of the town’s prince charming, Sawyer Vincent. Maybe That’s why she’s found herself spending time with Sawyer’s cousin, Beau, while he’s away for the summer camping with his family. Beau is nothing like her perfect boyfriend. He’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, dangerous in ways she’s only day dreamed about, and the one guy she should stay away from.
Beau never envied Sawyer his loving parents, his big nice home, or his position as quarterback. He loves him like a brother. Which is why he's tried everything in his power to keep his distance from Sawyer’s girlfriend. Even if he has loved her since the age of five, Ashton is Sawyer’s girl, so therefore she’s off limits. But when Sawyer leaves for the summer, Ashton, the one girl Beau would move Heaven and Earth for, decides she wants to get into trouble. Stabbing the one person who’s always accepted him and stood by him in the back, is the cost of finally holding Ashton Gray in his arms. Is she worth losing his cousin over?.... Hell Yeah.--Goodreads

My POV
OH.MY.GOODNESS!! Talk about leaving me breathless. This book was so awesome and so good I'm sure Im going to have dreams about it tonight.

The Vincent Boys had me on my toes once Beau came on the scene. He is one character I have fallen head over heals in love with. Not only is he the towns drop dead gorgeous bad boy but also has the heart of gold underneath all that tough exterior. Especially when it come to Ash.

Ashton (Ash),  Sawyer, and Beau were the best of friend while growing up together. Ash and Beau were the closest being thick as thieves as children causing all kinds of ciaos and havoc wherever they went leaving Sawyer to always clean up after them. As they got older and hormones set in things changed from their magnificent trio to a “perfect” couple and a third wheel.

Being in a relationship with Sawyer is not as “perfect” as everyone believes. Not even to Ash.  The summer before senior year Sawyer is away on a family trip for weeks leaving Ash to entertain herself. That is until Ash finds Beau and his girlfriend too drunk to drive home one night.  Rekindling their friendship was not in her plans for the summer but being bored out of her mind it seemed like a fun idea. Until that is,  things start to head in a direction she was not expecting.

If there is one word to describe this book I would say passionate.  The relationship, the people, the situations had some serious passion going on. It was such a rush and a terrific ride. I can’t wait to read more of Abbi’s books. She is now one of my favorite authors!

Quote
“Girl there ain’t a boy in this town can hold candle to Beau with his shirt off.” “GRANA.”

“Right now. Right here. I’m yours. Not Sawyers. He isn’t who I want. Right now, all I want is you.”

“She started walking toward me and perfect white teeth caught her full bottom lip between them. I’d fantasized about those lips way too many times. She’d barely covered up her long tanned legs with a pair of shorts that made me want to go to church this Sunday just to thank God for creating her.”
