BLOG TOUR: My POV of My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea M. Cameron + GIVEAWAY

My Favorite Mistake
Book Blurb
Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him.

On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome, blue-eyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitar-playing bundle of bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him, or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, and even though her other roommates adore him, she wants him gone before it's too late.

Hunter himself has been been burned before, but the fact that Taylor calls him out on his crap and has the sexiest laugh ever make him decide maybe love isn't a lost cause. They make a bet: if she can convince him she truly loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartment--and leave her alone. The problem is, the more time they spend together, the less she hates him, and the more she moves toward love.

But when the man who holds the key to Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces and threatens to wreck everything, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.

My POV

This was one of the best love/ hate relationships I’ve read! It was sexy as hell. Funny as hell and had the best dialog between characters. This was a true sweep you off your feet romances but not in the usually way. It was such a fun read watching Hunter squeeze his way into Taylor’s heart!
The wonderful thing about this book is you get the good with the bad. Taylor Caldwell has a big secret. One she doesn’t ever plan to tell to anyone but she didn’t plan on Hunter Zaccadelli showing up at her dorm room door either, especially because he wasn’t a she. Once he knocks on her door the three female roommates are left with a big problem. Who is going to share a room with the irresistible Hunter?
This book had complicated believable characters, heart pounding secrets, and a passionate love story. I couldn’t get enough! The most memorable things for me about this story besides both of the main characters deep dark secrets was the food, yuuumy and the songs. Too funny!
This was the first book I read from Chelsea M. Cameron but definitely not my last. I think I found a new author to obsess about now.  My Favorite Mistake is one of the best books I’ve read this year. If you’re looking for a passionate love to hate you romances this is the book to pick up. I loved every page of it!

Quote
"If you want, Renee and I can switch. I'll stay wtih him and Renee can stay with you," Darah said.
"Why can't he stay with me?" Renee whined.
"Because you'll rape him in his sleep,"

"No smart comments? Not gonna ask me if I'm a lesbian?..
"Are you?" Hunter raised one eyebrow...
"What if I was?" I said it slow..
"That would be one of the sexiest thing you've said to me. Even if it isn't true." He leaned forward, a predatory look on his face.
*****
“I don’t like you. I don’t like how your hair smells, and how I can’t stop thinking about waking up and seeing your face. I hate how my bed felt empty when you left. I don’t like how good you were with my family, especially Harper, and how I wanted to see you with them again, but not just as a guest, As a member. You’re right. I don’t like you at all.”

  1. The greatest mistake that I ever made was getting pregnant right out of high school & marrying the irresponsible creep. I finally divorced him but got the most beautiful son out of the deal. You can usually find good things even in of the worst of things.

  2. *sigh* The are so many mistakes to choose from! The point is allowing yourself to move and try to find the silver lining.

  3. Breaking up with a really sweet great guy for a guy that was a total a55/jerk. That has been my biggest mistake and one I completely regret having done =C

  4. I mistakenly purchased this book without reading the free sample. If I had done so, I would have realized in the first few pages that this book was not worth my time or money. Weak writing, weak characters, weaker plot.
