Every Friday we will gather all the correct answers into one form, then visit Random.org and choose a winner randomly.

Can you please share 3 things (weird, funny or embarrassing) about your book that your fans probably don’t know?
 
-A lot of people ask me about the amount of research I had to do on the science in the book, but I also had to do a lot of research on the logistics of frozen lakes and rescue attempts.

-The names of the main character’s parents are each only one letter off from my own parents’ names. I had no idea until a family member pointed it out. It was completely subconscious, I promise!

-The book changed a lot over the course of many drafts. Like, for example, one of my favorite characters from the first draft became the antagonist by the final draft. I feel kind of bad about that.
