Hey everyone!
 I wanted to share with you some pictures and video Yara from Once Upon A Twilight Blog and I have from the Pitch Dark Days Tour when it came to Houston. I was lucky enough to be involved with this tour because Yara asked me to help. HarperTeen asked her to conduct a video interview as part of the tour and I was more than happy and willing to do whatever she needed in order to help her out.

We had a great time meeting all the authors! They were all so nice and very patient (thank goodness) since we had some bumps along the way with the locations but it all worked out in the end. Thank you Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows and Courtney Allison Moulton!

Just when things start to move forward with Robert, the guy she'd been crushing on for a year now, in walks the man of her dreams – literally. Chance suddenly appears in her dream every time she closes her eyes. So it's Robert by day and Chance by night. One in the real world and one in the dream world. What could possibly go wrong?

Absolutely nothing – until she comes face to face with the guy she met in the in-between, and realizes her romantic rendezvous with Chance may be more than just her imagination.

My POV

Falling In between is a steamy, fun, and emotional read. The story started out with an adrenaline rush and it just kept on going from there. This is Jenna’s story of living in between her fantasies and realities.  Then when she realizes that her fantasy man might be too real for comfort she is left with the ultimate question. Who to chose??

I would say that Jenna is a serious, pensive, reserved but fun kind of person. That’s why her fantasies are so appealing to her. She can let herself go in her “dreams”. Be who ever and do whatever she wants without any true consequences. Except for fall in love. She lacks the silly carefree sprit of her rich classmates due to her upbringing and history of being orphaned.

Sophie is Jenna’s best friend and total opposite. She is a total riot to read. Jhett is Sophie’s love interest/boyfriend. Robert is Jhett’s best friend and roommate. He has fallen for Jenna after months of Jenna drooling over him. Robert has many great things going for him that make him very compatible with Jenna. He is fun, attractive, faithful, determine, devoted, thoughtful, loving, caring, and patient. In order to have a relationship with Jenna you would need most of those traits because she has not taken a chance on love before and doesn’t really know how. So patients and determination plays a good roll in why they stay together.

Jenna’s fantasy man Chance brings out a whole new and wild side to Jenna and she has a great time with him. The firsts time she meets Chance is when she dies by drowning after jumping off a cliff in order to prepare for her “surprise” meeting with Robert and Jhett. After being brought back to life she meets Chance in her dreams every night. But things start to get too real for Jenna and one day reality strikes when a coma patient she is asked to read to looks just like Chance.

This was an all around fun read and I hope we get to see more of this story since Devon left us with a some doubt about Jenna’s choice. This book contains a lot of mature situations. Lots of intimate scenes and adult language and situations. Definitely for mature young adults.

The ALA Midwinter Report

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a little of my wonderful experience with all of you from the ALA Midwinter Conference. This was my very first time attending a book related conference and this was such an eye opening experience. I met so many new interesting people and saw some amazing things.

First and foremost I want to thank Yara @ Once Upon A Twilight for not only becoming one of my best blogging buddies in this community but for also inviting and encouraging me to attend this conference. As you all may have heard that tragedy struck back home in Houston while we were in Dallas. Yara's home caught home fire not once but twice and she lost many irreplaceable items but the good news it that her family was not in the house and they were found relatively unharmed. If you would like to help, and every little bit counts, there are links in set up in this POST for donations.

On a happier note Yara, Sabrina @ YA Bliss and I came back home with tons of new books and we had a great time. We attended the blogger/Author dinner hosted by Jenn @ I Read Banned Books. Which was super awesome and I was introduce to some great blogger, authors, and librarians. I got new contacts in the publishing community some a whole lot nicer that others and I would encourage you all to try to attend any book conference to broaden your network.
