BLOG TOUR: My POV of Kiss Me by Jillian Dodd

Kiss Me (The Keatyn Chronicles, #2)
Kindle Edition
Published November 28th 2012

I've always written scripts for my perfect life.
But no way could I have ever scripted this.
My life is so far from perfect, it’s not even funny.
All because of a stalker.

I’m at a boarding school where I have to lie about who I am.
I can’t see my family.
I’m tutoring a Hottie God that tortures me with his smile.
The most popular girl already hates me.
But there’s this boy.
This hot, sweet, sexy boy.
So I’m going to stop trying to script my life and just live it.
Because who knows how long I have left.--Goodreads

Kiss me is the funniest and steamiest new adult book I’ve read this year! I’m so addicted to Keatyn’s story! It’s so much fun and full of surprises. I’m always at the end of my seat waiting to see what new situations she finds herself in next.

In this second book of Jillian Dodd’s Keatyn Chronicles Keatyn is at a new exclusive boarding school trying to adjust to a new life. It doesn’t take her long to find many friends in her new environment and it just so happens that they are all from the opposite sex. She learned from her other school that it’s better to stay away from the queen bee of the school and avoid all the drama. That’s easier said than done though. She soon makes the dance and soccer team which makes her life a little bearable but none the less she finds herself the center of attention being the new girl and all.

As far as characters goes Keatyn has to be one of my all-time favorite. Her charismatic, carefree attitude is so refreshing and I love to picture what stylish outfit she put together each day. She is such a down to earth honest loving person who’s trying to find her place in the world and just survive. If she were real I would love her as a friend!

Kiss Me (a very appropriate named for this book by the way) has a lot of kissing going on. With this book the saying “you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince” has never been so true. And that is not to say that all the fellas Keatyn kiss in this book are “frogs” because quite frankly they are all good catches just not the right ones.

While reading the book I had so much fun that I forgot that Keatyn is actually in a very serious situation. The reason she is at this new school is because she had to be removed from her life and entire family in order to keep them and herself safe from her stalker. But like all tragedies life goes on whether we want them to or not. The stalking scenes in this book are few but very intense and heart racingly scary.

Right now I’m Team Dawson all the way but I have a feeling that this relationship as good as it is still isn’t the right one. They are fun to see though! I couldn’t stop blushing, gushing and cheesing throughout the whole last scene of the book. Priceless!

Guys pick up this book if you are looking for something fun and addictive. Seriously! I loved it! Jillian is a freakin genius, I’m telling you. I can’t wait to get my hands on Date Me, the third book in this series.

"So you have a muffin for me too?"
"Yeah, you want me to butter your muffin?"
"If only boys came with warning lables. Like, yours would be: Do not kiss when drunk. Riley's would be: I'm going to sleep with you and your best friend too."
"Dawson. When I was in your room yesterday lying on your bed, I told you, Oh that feels sooo good and please, don't stop." I even say it the way I said it yesterday, closed eyes, lowered, dreamy voice. "What were you doing to me?"
