BLOG TOUR: Second Rate Chances by Holly Stephens + GIVEAWAY!

 Character Interview with Lil

1. Name one thing in your closest you love to where all year long?- my yoga pants. Never mind the fact that I’ve never been to yoga. They’re great pants to relax on the couch with. And to go grocery shopping in.

2. Where is your favorite place to be when at home?- on the couch in Sam’s arms

3. Tell us about your first encounter with Sam. LOL the first encounter happened our first day of college. My parents were helping me unload all my bags to move into the dorm. They were lolly gagging along and I tripped, with a box of stuff in my hands and everything scattered. Sam helped me pick everything up. I guess you could say it was love at first sight (laughs) but really, I remember looking up at his guy with his long, shaggy hair that needed a cut in the worst way. He stood up and here stood this tall, lanky guy with a smile on his face. I think it was his smile that made me realize it was love at first sight. Anyway, my parents rush over to help us and when names are exchanged, his dad and my parents laughed and laughed. Samson and Delilah? I guess all they could do was laugh. Honestly, I think his dad was hoping I’d turn out to be more like my biblical namesake and cut his hair in his sleep.

4. Describe Sam in three words. Hardworking, funny, amazing

5. What do you think will be the next Christmas ornament you will get? Well….(looks down at bare ring finger, then side eyes Sam) I’m hoping it might be wedding bells but (shrugs) who knows. He told me it could happen at any time and it still hasn’t. I guess I shouldn’t rush it. I know we’re going to be together forever now so I can wait. (Sam in the background smirking and patting the front pocket of his jeans)

Second Rate Chances

 Holly Stephens
People have often told me that I live in a fantasy world. Little did they know, I was building an empire of stories in my head to one day share.

I'm a mother first, a wife second, and a writer third. I'm so thankful to have been given this chance to get my stories out of my head and onto paper.

When I'm not writing, I sell plumbing (no I'm not kidding) and read romances that leave my heart a flutter. I know a ridiculous amount of pop culture information and can quote certain movies word for word. Music drives me to write and to also sing off key.
