Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Can you love someone too much?
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.--Goodreads

Oh sweet baby Travis. What on earth did all of us readers do before we met him? I truly have no idea. The sexy, smooth, delicious Travis Maddox has by far been the most exciting alpha male I've read yet.

As you all may know Walking Disaster is the companion novel to Beautiful Disaster but written in Travis's point of view. This was an emotional gripping view of Travis and Abby's story as we get a deeper more comprehensive look into Travis’s mind, thoughts and feelings. This was one crazy ride!

Travis "Mad Dog" Maddox is a big strong character that is hotter than sin with an unlimited booty call list, who fights in a covert underground ring called the Circle. That is the side that everyone see but he also has a vulnerable side that we get to experience when he's with Abby. I couldn’t help but fall in love with him even more after those tender moments. He is a complex character with deep seeded issues and new to all the overwhelming feelings he has for Abby. Once he realizes how deeply he feels about her it’s difficult to see him try to work through his emotions and control himself. His jealousy and attachment can be over whelming at times for Abby but you can see that he means no harm. He just doesn't know to handle the situation he finds himself in. He loves her to death!

Abby is not in the least bit interested in complicating her life and that includes getting into a relationship. If fact she has just moved states away to start a new life at college away from her past. But fate has other plans for her and the last thing she expects is someone like Travis Maddox falling for her. With the description of him above, need I say, he is the epitome of complication? =)

The relationship between these two is beyond intense. It’s exciting, passionate, fun and steamy but you also see the insecurity and vulnerability of both of them. Looking back at certain scenes like in the prologue and when Abby decides it just too much leaves me feeling desperate, lonely and devastated. You will experience the extremes of both happiness and devastation throughout this story. Be prepared to be exhausted by the end of this books. HA!
I have found that the best stories are the most emotional and this book/series definitely fits that category. If you want a crazy, wild, sexy as hell story, look no further. This is the book you’re looking for!

"One of these days you're going to fall in love, son. Don't settle for just anyone. Choose the girl that doesn't come easy; the one you have to fight for, and then never stop fighting. Never"-she took a deep breath-"stop fighting for what you want. And never"-her eyebrows pulled in-"forget that Mommy loves you. Even if you can't see me."
I looked to the floor, and everywhere else except Shepley’s smug ass smile. I fought it for a while, but the puppy was fucking brilliant. Abby would flip out (in a good way for once), and I could keep it at the apartment. She’d want to be there every day.
“I like her,” I said through my teeth.
Shepley held his hand to his ear. “What? I couldn’t quite hear you.”
“You’re an asshole! Did you hear that?”
Shepley crossed his arms. “Say it.”
“I like her, okay?”
“Not good enough.”
“I have feelings for her. I care about her. A lot. I can’t stand it when she’s not around. Happy?”
“For now,” he said, grabbing his backpack off the floor.”
“Shepley jogged around the front of the Charger, and then slid into the driver’s seat. “I’m still taking the official position that this is a bad idea.”
“Then where?”
“The jewelry store?”
“Why, Travis?” Shepley said, his voice more stern than before.
“You’ll see.”
He shook his head. “Are you trying to run her off?”
“It’s going to happen, Shep. I just want to have it. For when the time is right.”
“No time any time soon is right. I am so in love with America that it drives me crazy sometimes, but we’re not old enough for that shit, yet, Travis. And … what if she says no?”
My teeth clenched at the thought. “I won’t ask her until I know she’s ready.”
Shepley’s mouth pulled to the side. “Just when I think you can’t get any more insane, you do something else to remind me that you are far beyond bat shit crazy.”
“Wait until you see the rock I’m getting.”
Shepley craned his neck slowly in my direction. “You’ve already been over there shopping, haven’t you?”
I smiled.”
"The only thing I'm afraid of is a life without you, Pigeon."....
"Then you have nothing to be afraid of. We're forever"
