My POV: Just Remember To Breathe by Charles Sheehan-Miles

Book Description

Alex Thompson's  life is following the script. A pre-law student at Columbia University, she's focused on her grades, her life and her future. The last thing she needs is to reconnect with the boy who broke her heart.

Dylan Paris comes home from Afghanistan severely injured and knows that the one thing he cannot do is drag Alex into the mess he's made of his life.

When Dylan and Alex are assigned to the same work study program and are forced to work side by side, they have to make new ground rules to keep from killing each other.

The only problem is, they keep breaking the rules.

The first rule is to never, ever talk about how they fell in love.

The Thompson Sisters- Amazon

Omg! I loved this book. The author did an amazing job with this story. Alex and Dylan met
on an airplane on their way to Tel-Aviv during their junior years in high school. As soon as they arrived
to their destination, they were inseparable. When the trip was over they went separate ways. Dylan enlisted
into the army and Alex continued school. Long distance relationships could be difficult especially with so many
obstacles in the way. When a misunderstanding occurs , Dylan disappears and Alex is left with a broken heart.
Three years later at Columbia University Alex is assigned to a work study program and never thought in a million
years that the person who broke her heart three years prior would be her study partner. Now Dylan and Alex are face to
Face and are about to get on an emotional roller coaster ride. I loved this book! It’s a love story worth fighting for. I
fell in love with all the characters in this book. There are times where you want to shake Dylan to wake up but at the same time you are rooting for him lol. I highly recommend this book. I will definitely be reading more books from this Author.

Oh God, I thought , taking a deep breath. This was hard. I looked her in the eyes, and my eyes were watering too.
“Alex, I don’t need to keep myself safe from you. I don’t want to keep myself safe from you. You mean too much
To me. I’d rather have a lifetime of heartache, from you breaking my heart, than even imagine my life without
You. Because a life without you wouldn’t be a life at all. - Dylan
