Liam, a down to earth firefighter, may be just the person to show her she’s still worth something. Their chemistry is instant and electric. But will Dani be able to trust her patched-up heart with him?

And what will happen when Rick decides he’ll go to any lengths to get her back?

My POV

This book was a little refreshing when it comes to love triangles. I have to say I am a big fan of love triangles myself but sometimes it gets a little tiring when it’s the same ol’ thing where the girls can’t seem to choose and it’s hard for me to choose who the girl should end up with. Well with this book you know who Danni belongs with and who she needs to stay with. The trick to this story is we get to see behind the scenes and what each man is up to so we know who is putting up a front and who is not.

Daniela Ruiz “Danni” has been broken by love. Rick, her friendly-with-all-women ex shattered her heart because he was just not ready to be tied down. Well as much as it hurt and as much as she struggled she survived their break up. She’s not looking for another relationship and would rather spend her time in books with her many book boyfriends than face another real broken heart.

Liam Lucas is one hot fire fighter who has dedicated his life to his job. Keeping himself busy with work he doesn’t have time for distractions until he meets Danni and decides that she’s worth the effort. After his life was heartbreakingly changed a few years back he didn’t think true love was in the cards for him again. But life has a way of proving us wrong not matter how much we fight it.

These two have such great chemistry and the love between them is easy and beautiful. Now throw in Rick (“the dick”), Danni’s ex and you get a lot of confusion and aggression but you also have longing and hopefulness on Danni’s part. And it’s only because she is such a beautiful and optimistic person who is being played.  She has no real intentions of rekindling what they once had but it has crossed her mind since he seems to be a changed man.

I loved this book and all the characters in it, even Rick and Madison. I hope we see them in the next book. I need to know what happen to her!! For something a little different and a whole lot sexy make sure to grab this book. You’ll be fanning yourself most of the time.
