BLOG TOUR: Escaping Me by Elizabeth Lee

All she wanted to do was forget. Forget the memory of walking in on her boyfriend in the middle of, well, another girl. Forget how she had her entire life planned out. And, forget about being perfect all the time. Unfortunately, she was Whitney Vandaveer and despite the fact that she moved to the middle of nowhere – she couldn't.

He always knew he would never be more than nothing. No job, no money, no future. Cole Pritchett had accepted the fact that he would always be the screw up and he was okay with it. Until he met her.

Here's the thing they quickly found out – sometimes we all need a little help escaping who we think we are.

My POV
Cole and Whitney have just moved in to a new town. They meet for the first time when Cole rescues her when she passes out right outside her moms house. The moment he sees her he's instantly hit how beautiful she is. But he has always been considered as a bad boy so he knows he needs to leave. When Whitney finally wakes up after passing out her mom lets her know who rescued her and that he is very good looking. She finally gets a chance to thank Cole, but he still thinks he's not good enough for her. He keeps trying to push her away but Whitney is finally fed up with people always making decisions for her that she goes after him. They only have the summer because Whitney is only in town for the summer. She is trying to make some decisions for herself.

Can Cole and Whitney make things work out between each other? Can they admit to each other there true feelingsin just the short amount of time that they have known each other? Can they make it work through all the obstacles?

Read this book and you will definitely find out. From beginning to end I didn't put this book down until I finished it. You will not be disappointed. There are some steamy scenes but they are not raunchy. You will realy enjoy this book. I highly recommend it.

Elizabeth Lee

When I'm not writing or playing the part of wife and mother, you can find me dancing back-up for Beyonce, singing back-up for Miranda, or sunning myself on the beach with a drink in hand.  Here's the thing about being born and raised in a small town—you have a very vivid imagination!  Now, I channel it all to create stories where the girl always ends up with the right guy, first kisses are magical, and a happy ending is just that!

  3. This was my first Elizabeth Lee novel, but definitely not my last. Elizabeth does southern romance justice in this story of Whitney and Cole. Having found her boyfriend cheating on her with another woman, Whitney decides to make changes to what was once in her mind a perfect life. Escaping Me held me captive page-by-page, and the sarcasm, humor, and witty banter Elizabeth includes make the story easier to get lost in. I highly recommend this book to any and every one.
