As the sparks between them ignite, she will be forced to choose between the security she’s finally found… and the passion she’s always wanted.---Goodreads

What would you do if you had a sexy boss that you are attracted to but you can't do anything with that attraction because you know he just has one night stands and you want more with him than a one night stand?
Avery Mullins is a bartender at Rowdy Yates bar. She likes him a lot and Rowdy keeps pursuing her but she doesn't want to be just a one night stand. When Rowdy gets hurt in a fight outside the bar defending a kid Avery is there to take care of him at his home. But Avery is running from her past and no one knows why but soon Rowdy starts getting suspicious that something is going on because Avery starts getting weird phone calls and it looks like they're being followed.
Soon Avery doesn't have a choice but to tell Rowdy what is going on and he turns into her protector.... but can Rowdy protect Avery? And what will happen once the threat is gone? Will Rowdy send Avery away because he never gets close to anyone?
I was literally on the edge of my seat, I couldn't put the book down. Wondering what was going to happen to Avery. My heart also broke for Rowdy knowing what had happened to him in his past I wanted to comfort him myself. I was so shocked when I found out who was behind the calls and following Avery around.  Let me tell you I never expected it.
Wow just wow! Please read this book I promise you won't be disappointed. The author did a great job.... suspense, love, trust a little bit of everything.
Enjoy your read!
