BLOG TOUR: My POV of Take a Chance by Abbi Glines + GIVEAWAY!

I received this book for free from publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Paperback, 288 pages

Published February 25th 2014 by Atria Books
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the story of Grant, the sexy playboy who first captured readers hearts in Fallen Too Far.

When Harlow Manning's rocker father goes on tour, he sends her to Rosemary Beach, Florida, to live with her half-sister, Nan. The problem: Nan despises her. Harlow has to keep her head down if she wants to get through the next nine months, which seems easy enough. Until gorgeous Grant Carter walks out of Nan's room in nothing but his boxer briefs.

Grant made a huge mistake getting involved with a girl with venom in her veins. He'd known about Nan's reputation, but still he couldn't resist her. Nothing makes him regret the fling more than meeting Harlow, who sends his pulse racing. Yet Harlow wants nothing to do with a guy who could fall for her wicked half-sister—even if there are no strings between Grant and Nan. Grant is desperate to redeem himself in Harlow's eyes, but did he ruin his chances before he even met her?-- Goodreads

My POV interview style

~Why do you like reading Abbi Gline’s stories?
I first have to go back to when Abbi was an Indie Author and she published The Vincent Boys. At that time Abbi was one of few authors that shared a YA story where she was not scared to push the envelope and write some of the HOTTEST scenes for that genre. It was bold, it was smart, and it was a start to a whole new genre we now know as New Adult. But not only that Abbi writes characters you can relate to, connect with, fall absolutely in love with and wish you really know them in real life.

~What is it about the Rosemary Beach Boys (Rush, Woods, Jase, Grant, Tripp) that you love so much?
All of these guys have so much to offer. Not only are these boys smart and totally hot but they have big hearts. And even when these guys mess up royally they figure out pretty quickly that they can’t fight love when it is real and staring them in the face.

~Take a Chance is Grant and Harlow’s first book in the Rosemary Beach Series. What did you like about their story?
Their journey. I’ve met these two characters in the previous Rosemary Beach books as unconnected characters (to each other). So I got to see a bit of their back grounds as well as see where they fit in everyone else’s life. When Take a Chance begins these two already have a strong connection starting from their very first meeting. As their journey starts there is some hesitation and a lot of mistakes from Grant and there is doubt, insecurity and hostility (because of Grant’s involvement with Nan) from Harlow. As thing progress I love seeing how they really get to know each other and fall in love.

~What did you NOT like about their story?
The ending was heartbreaking. I can’t say more. I don’t want to spoil it.

~What is the one thing in this story that will make this story memorable?
Harlow’s secret…WOW! I wasn’t expecting that!! It was shocking and made me want to hug her. Also, (on a fun note) the moment where Harlow joined the Mile High Club ;)

~Will you continue to read this series?
HELL YES! I can’t get enough of these series. I have to know what is going to happen with every single one of these characters.

~Would you recommend this book/series and why?
OMG yes! This series starts out with Rush and Blaire’s story (still my favorite out of these series). Although you don’t have to read the rest of these series before reading Take a Chance I highly recommend it. You will get much more background on these two making you understand them a bit more along with their connections with all the other important characters.

~Any other comments or tidbits about this book?
Yes…NAN is still a B***H. I really dislike her. I usually find some redeeming qualities for characters who are horrible but I just can’t stand her. Geezus! She has MAJOR issues and even though bad things happen to her in this book I just kind of wanted her to just go away.

~Note to Abbi..
As always you left me wanting more..I can't get enough of these stories!! Loved them more than chocolate! LOL and that's saying a lot. Love you! Keep’em coming!
