From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance—and the enchanting music that inspires one young woman to put her life back together.

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

From the author of the New York Times bestsellers Slammed, Point of Retreat, Hopeless, This Girl, and Losing Hope, Maybe Someday is destined to become another bestseller and long-lasting fan favorite.---Goodreads

I had the most amazing experience while reading Maybe Someday. I mean I have always love Colleen’s books but incorporating and creating actual songs just for a book is genius. It truly enhanced the reading experience a 1000-fold.

Sydney is a trip. I totally fell in love with her. She’s cute and quirky and had me laughing a lot. But, the situation she finds herself in in the beginning had me teary-eyed and then weepy towards the end. She is not lucky in love is all I can say for now. I hate when bad things happen to good people and I really hate when situations feel like there is no hope. This is where poor Sydney finds herself in this story. Either way it’s a beautiful thing when she finally meets the mystery-guy-who-plays-the-guitar-on-a-balcony-across-the-courtyard better known as Ridge.

My first thought of Ridge is that he is such a good guy. He may not be a total saint but he tries so hard. I totally love him! Not only is he a good ol’boy but he’s also an extremely talented musician. These are two very attractive traits if you ask me. And, to make him more intriguing Colleen has created his character with an interesting way in which he perceives and creates music. It is just wondrous. It had me pretty much dumbfounded and super curious.

These two together find a bond through music, new friendship through tragedy and an attractiveness they were not expecting.

In the middle of reading Maybe Someday I purchased "I'm in Trouble" ( in order to get the full experience of having one of the songs brought to life. All I have to say is WOW because it pretty much left me speechless. I seriously got goose bumps while listening. The song was perfect and fits perfectly with the situation that those two are living in at that moment. This totally rocked my world.

I could go on and on about all the things I like about this book but I would rather you experience it for your selves. Go get it and I know you love it as much as I did because it’s more than just a MUST read. Maybe Someday brightened my life, lightened my heart and had me smiling like a love sick fool. This is one book that deserve to be read over and over again.
To get the full experience make sure to get the soundtrack. I love listening to the song because it brings back scenes from the book. Love it, love it, love it!

I love music. LOVE music. Namely The Avett Brothers, Lumineers, Pink, Eminem. I have eclectic taste? If you have any recommendations, send them my way!

I'm addicted to diet pepsi and could tell you in a taste-test which restaurant it came from. It's a serious addiction, I tell you.

I get stoked whenever I get a message from goodreads saying I have a new friend request me, dangit!

Other Books By Colleen Hoover

This novella is a companion novel to the Hopeless series, but can be read as a standalone.

A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love comes with conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. Moments like that with girls like her don’t happen outside of fairytales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Daniel soon realizes the way he pretended to feel about Cinderella and the way he really feels about Six may not be so different after all. Especially when the two loves of his life end up being one in the same.

Unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn’t guarantee their happily ever after…it only further threatens it.
