My POV of Enjoy Your Stay by Carmen Jenner

*Book two in the Sugartown Series!*

The last thing Holly Harris expected was to wind up nineteen, knocked-up, and all alone. When Coop left to pursue his dreams of becoming a rock god, he left a tiny piece of him behind.

Holly wishes he hadn’t.

Jackson wishes he hadn’t.

Jackson Rowe tried filling the void his family left by drinking, screwing around, and leaving a string of heartbroken women in his wake. Moving back to Sugartown should have been easy, but he hadn’t counted on the fact his sometimes attraction to Holly would still be alive and kicking—and he sure as hell hadn’t counted on her being pregnant with another man’s baby.

They drive one another crazy, and yet they can’t stay away.

When old flames resurface, and even older wounds are torn open, can two people so similar make it work? Or will their stubbornness only drive them further apart?

*Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains angst, a crap-tonne of profanity, short-tempered Australian wildlife, and some very pregnant sex.-- Goodreads

~This is the second book in the Sugartown Series, how did you feel once you started reading?
Excited! I was eager to see Holly and Jackson together. But my goodness this story is not all butterfly and rainbows. I was frustrated at times because they both could be so hard headed and stubborn.  But it was so worth it at the end. Everything… the regretful words, the even more regretful actions which had me nauseous and broken hearted was all worth it. I see it like this. Sometimes it takes doing extreme things to figure out what you really want. These two have so much to figure out and even though they both know they want each other it’s a whole other matter when you add a child into the mix.

~Can you tell us a little about the main characters?
Holly is a firecracker and I love her! She’s also extremely horny in this book..just FYI. Pregnancy drive women to the brink sometimes and in her case it drove her to lose the will to say no. A LOT! I cringed a couple of time when I thought to myself “Don’t do it! He’s doing it for the wrong reasons.” But deep down they loved each other which may have been why it hurt my heart a bit more than usual. Either way Hols is a beautiful character inside and out. She’s strong and stubborn but has the best heart. She’s a good friend and turns out to be a great mother for putting her child first.
Jackarse is one sexy babe and even though he really, REALLY likes Holly he just doesn’t know how to feel when it comes to the baby. He’s a good and trustworthy friend when you need someone but also lost when it comes to making a commitment to Holly. Also, I found out he’s really good with his hands when it comes to making furniture. It was a good surprise.

~ What did you like about this story?
The friendship between the characters and especially between Hols and Jackarse. Even though it seems that they only ever want to rip their clothes off they really have a solid connection. I could feel that. Also, seeing Ana and Elijah again was a treat and so much fun.

~What did you NOT like about their story?
The parts where Jackson acts like an arse! LOL Well I don’t like it in the sense where it really hurt my heart but I also feel those parts were essential to the story.

~What is the one thing in the story that will make this story memorable?
Two things will stick. Jackarse with the skank on the living room floor. I was DEVISTATED! And the baby having scene. That was hilarious.

~Would you recommend this book/series and why?
Yes but to those who have tough skin. This story is not for weenies! LOL! Be prepared to want to throw shit against the wall!
